As an Accountant within the EMEA Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Controllership team, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant expense accounting across multiple business units. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and support statutory filings, audits, and process improvements in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Your Role Accountabilities
• Ensure accurate and timely booking of operational expenses, accruals, and prepaids in compliance with US GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations during month-end close
• Collaborate with Procurement, HR, and other teams to ensure proper expense recognition
• Support statutory filings and audits with detailed documentation and reconciliations
• Participate in process improvements and ERP/system integrations
• Engage with key stakeholders across FP&A, Tax, GBS, and local business units

Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX requirements, and operational accounting
• BS/BA in Accounting; CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
• SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in filmed entertainment accounting is a plus
