The RTR Manager, EMEA Studios Accounting plays a key role in Warner Bros. Discovery's accounting team, overseeing day-to-day operations for the Studios business across EMEA. This role ensures accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP and internal policies, while driving process improvements and managing outsourced accounting providers. The Manager will support financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable informed business decisions.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Lead general accounting controllership duties across selected EMEA territories for Studios businesses
• Oversee RTR activities including by-title accounting, participation/film cost accounting, and support for 3rd party audits
• Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations to maintain balance sheet integrity
• Manage Studios EMEA BPO offshore team in India, driving process improvements and standardization
• Act as point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Collaborate with Controllership team to resolve intercompany discrepancies
• Provide guidance during month-end close and support troubleshooting
• Partner with FP&A, GBS, COE, and Studio Global Process Owners to support business decisions
Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree is a plus
• CPA or Chartered Accountant (CA) strongly preferred
• Proven experience in accounting, including leadership of remote teams and outsourced providers
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and EMEA regulatory environments
• Proficiency in SAP and financial reporting systems
• Experience in media/entertainment industry accounting is a plus
• Demonstrated success in automating manual processes and driving digital transformation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
