Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

This technical role in the Warner Bros. Central Game Technologies team offers an experienced senior engineer the opportunity to collaborate in the envisioning, designing, and building of a wide variety of enterprise-level game development tools, pipelines, and services. The problem space ranges the gamut of games technology and will require an engineer with an exceptional ability to learn.
Critically, the role requires an engineer who has passion for helping others achieve and is prepared to drive this through innovation and development to fill needs, such as shared technology or inter-studio communication platforms. Collaboration and co-development with the many WB Games studios will be a routine part of the role, giving exposure to the many tools and technologies developed around WB Games.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Direct development of technology, systems, and pipelines
• Create and manage DevOps systems for central technology teams to improve technology sharing and collaboration across multiple studios
• Research and disseminate knowledge and best practices
• Guiding outsourcers and mentoring of staff

Qualifications & Experience
• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Recent professional experience with Unreal Engine build systems and source control systems
• Excellent communication skills

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $103,250.00 - $191,750.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
