Job Description
The Sales Executive plays a key supporting role in the theatrical distribution team, overseeing data management, reporting, and operational processes that support sales, finance, and exhibitor relations. This role requires strong attention to detail, data handling, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Database & Reporting Management
• Track and manage competitor box office data from KOFIC and other industry sources
• Maintain internal DASH system: update estimates, release schedules, box office results, and advertising/publicity data
• Collect and analyze industry data through publications and public sources
• Support management presentations with timely ad hoc reports
2. Finance & Administrative Support
• Monitor daily and weekly by-theater revenue and account receivables
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) in SAP; follow up with vendors on payments and documentation
• Support monthly FOS (Flash Operating Summary) reporting for senior leadership
• Coordinate and manage ITC/IDA processes
3. Distribution & Operational Support
• Assist with KDM arrangements and technical operations, liaising with HO Tech teams and local cinemas
• Manage MACCS system for cinema booking, holding, and billing processes
• Manage exhibitor and corporate screenings in line with agreed terms
• Collect and analyze competitive landscape data, including local distributors
• Pre-screen and analyze WB titles to support distribution strategy
4. Screening & Censorship Coordination
• Prepare and distribute DCPs and KDMs for pre-release, press, and exhibitor screenings
• Manage screening room operations, including server and equipment maintenance
• Coordinate censorship materials and schedules with HO Tech-Ops
5. Other Responsibilities
• Manage inventory and storage of DCPs
• Handle documentation of sales contracts and correspondence with exhibitors
• Oversee in-theater advertising materials and placements
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the film industry (distribution, exhibition, or related areas)
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Familiarity with SAP, MACCS, and KOFIC systems is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills in Korean and English (written and spoken)
