Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 5-6 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
The Accounts Payable Analyst, reporting to the Director of Production Finance, will be a key contributor to the daily budgeting and actualization activities supporting Sports Production. Under the leadership of the VP of Production Finance, the team collaborates closely with Production and Operations to manage budgets, track expenditures, and conduct financial analyses for all NBC Sports programming. The team is also responsible for vendor payments and partners with FP&A and Controllership to fulfill corporate reporting requirements.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
• Accounts payable processes: accurately code invoices, coordinate approvals, update operators and team members, and work with vendors as needed
• Prepare vendor set-ups and updates
• Post actuals in production budgets as required
• Invoice/vendor research assignments
• Support Production Finance team, as required
Qualifications
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
• 1+ year relevant experience, including internships
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel

Desired Characteristics
• Previous experience in the media and entertainment industry highly preferred.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Experience with SAP Accounting/Business Warehouse and BPC software a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Stamford, CT office a minimum of three days per week.
