We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Corporate Internal Reporting department to lead the consolidation of monthly financials and support coordination of the internal and external audit requests.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Review entries completed by staff and senior accountants for late adjusting entries and restricted account entries
• Oversee the preparation of the monthly financial statements by collecting, consolidating and analyzing financial data
• Prepare and review various Balance Sheet roll forward schedules via BPC system/OneStream to be used by management in monthly/quarterly financial statement review
• Prepare various higher impact elimination entries
• Lead development of internal streamlining and improvement processes
• Provide support on the transition of new cloud-based accounting system
• Provide accounting assistance and guidance to divisional accounting teams worldwide
• Manage the review and research process for account reconciliation variances in accordance with company accounting policies
• Oversee and coordinate internal and external audit requests
• Lead special projects as requested by management
• Oversee manager and senior accountants
• Assist VP or Director with various balance sheet or P&L analytics.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams such as FP&A, Tax, and FinTech, M&A Accounting, and Technical Accounting on various projects and tasks
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• CPA required.
• 5 to 7+ years of comparable work experience.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-task oriented.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Team-player.
• Self-motivated; shows initiative.
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
• Ability to research accounting literature and reach conclusions.
• Experience in working with foreign currency exchange rates.
• Intermediate experience with Oracle, BPC, and OneStream is a plus.
