The Senior Manager, Entertainment Partnerships role will be part of our Fandango Rewards team within Fandango's Marketing & Partnerships org. Over the past twenty years, Fandango has built a network of direct-to-consumer digital brands, where 50 million+ fans unite to celebrate their love for movies, TV and streaming. We take pride in serving fans throughout their entertainment journey from content discovery to theatrical moviegoing to watching at home. Our portfolio includes leading online movie ticketer, Fandango, which tickets for more than 31,000 US movie screens; world-renowned entertainment review site, Rotten Tomatoes; and Fandango at Home (previously known as Vudu), the on-demand streaming service offering the industry's best selection of 4K UHD titles and more than 250,000 new release and catalogue movies and next day TV shows.
Fandango Rewards is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Entertainment Partnerships to lead the delivery of brand and promotional partnerships that deliver revenue and strategic value tied to new theatrical movie releases and streaming opportunities on our Fandango at Home platform. This role will work cross-functionally with internal teams to maximize high-impact campaigns that amplify film title partnerships.
The Senior Manager, Entertainment Partnerships will serve as the primary point of contact for entertainment Studio and brand promotional partners, ensuring on-brand and on-time execution of campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and box office or Fandango at Home performance.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Partner Management:
• Manage day-to-day relationships with current and future promotional partners (e.g., QSR, CPG, retail, tech, automotive) across all stages of the partnership lifecycle-ideation, approvals, creative approval, legal clearance, and activation.
Campaign Execution:
• Oversee execution and delivery of partner campaigns, ensuring alignment with studio marketing goals, release timelines, and brand guidelines.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Work closely with internal teams including brand marketing, creative, legal, media, to integrate and support partnership programs.
Creative Oversight:
• Provide creative direction and feedback on partner assets (TV, digital, in-store, +packaging, social, etc.), ensuring alignment with film IP and studio messaging.
Performance Reporting:
• Track and report on partnership campaign performance and customer reach. Provide post-mortem reports and insights to inform future strategies.
Partner Acquisition Support:
• Collaborate with Senior Director within Fandango Entertainment Partnerships and the Fandango Media teams to pitch and secure new promotional partners, including preparing pre-sale pitch decks, proposals, and marketing insights.
Timeline & Asset Management:
• Maintain project timelines and asset delivery schedules to meet key deadlines leading up to theatrical and/or Fandango at Home releases.
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in marketing, brand partnerships, entertainment, or agency account management.
• Strong understanding of movie release cycles and the promotional opportunities tied to theatrical and digital windows.
• Proven ability to manage multiple partner campaigns with attention to detail and stakeholder coordination.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working with studio IP, and brand compliance processes preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and creative sensibility.
• Passion for film, fandoms, and finding the sweet spot between pop culture and purchase behavior.
• Previous work with a film studio, streaming platform, media or partnership agency, or consumer brand doing entertainment partnerships, preferred.
• Familiarity with legal and compliance review processes for promotional tie-ins, preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Adobe suite, and Salesforce preferred.
Additional Job Requirements:
• This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
• Must be willing to work in the Los Angeles, CA office.
• Some travel required (approx. 15%)
