About the Role & Team
Do you remember seeing ads for Deadpool and Wolverine this past summer? What about Moana 2 during Thanksgiving? Or Andor: Season 2 in the past few weeks? (coming to Disney+ in April!) If you did, it was likely because the detailed planning and execution of The Walt Disney Studios Media and Marketing team…and if you didn't – it's probably because our targeting is that good.
We are looking for a Sr Data Analyst, Marketing Products to join the Performance Marketing arm of this media team. We are an integrated, cross-functional team of marketers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts who help the Media team execute highly data-driven marketing campaigns for theatrical, streaming, and brand campaigns.
As a Sr Data Analyst, Marketing Products, you will manage the product roadmap, implementation process, and data fidelity of several internal tools. You will help create innovative campaign planning tools, complex data science workflows, and elegant web applications that blend the art of advertising at Disney with the science of our data-backed insights.

What You Will Do
• Build, refine, and maintain product roadmap for a suite of Performance Marketing tools
• Write and approve technical user stories for software engineers on our internal team; coordinate efforts between different groups to execute roadmap strategy
• Collaborate with software engineers to execute improvements to existing processes and tools (and innovate by creating new ones)
• Ensure that existing media analytics tools, platforms, processes, and dashboards continue to deliver value for our campaigns; write SQL queries and run Python and/or Spark scripts to verify data quality and uncover bugs
• Create Tableau dashboards that help the media planning team make data driven decisions and/or Airtable processes that allow us to automate key media workflows.
• Facilitate any work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements; translate functional requirements to software engineers
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management
• An understanding of the fundamentals of statistics
• Must have experience with SQL such as joining tables, creating temporary views, nested queries, etc.
• Must have experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
• Must have experience with workflow tracking tools such as Airtable or comparable tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with QA to catch data quality issues/bugs
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a relevant subject area, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics or comparable experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of ad platforms, including DMPs, Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, and DSPs (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon)
• Familiarity with the Python programming language or the Spark framework
• Familiarity with Databricks and AWS
• Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation

The hiring range for this position in Burbank is $114,900.00 to $135,000.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
