Job Description
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.
Responsibilities:
• Edit VO's/SOT's/Highlights using Adobe Premiere for Pre/Post Game Shows
• Provide research for and have ability to build show graphics/fonts for Pre/Post Game Shows
• Write highlights for Pre/Post Game Shows
• Produce segments for Pre/Post Game Shows, providing innovative ideas for analyst breakdowns and entertaining segments using Piero telestration software and our studio demonstration area
• Proactively generate and pitch original and timely content ideas through video, sound and graphics, including recurring multiplatform segments with sponsorship potential
• Proactively search for the latest and most relevant content around the web and social media platforms to display in pregame/postgame shows through Tagboard
• Pick Player Sound/Put Together Story Packages
• Produce Feature Stories
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• College Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in television production
• Experience with newsroom computer systems
• Knowledge of sports, ESPECIALLY Bay Area sports
Desired Characteristics:
• Thorough knowledge of sports preferred
• Excellent personal and communications skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
• Solid work ethic, positive attitude and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities
Additional Requirements:
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be willing to work in San Francisco, CA
• Willingness to work non-traditional business days/hours
• Willingness to be available for any shifts
• Ability to work overtime, as needed
Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
Hourly Rate: $21.00 - $27.00
